We prepared a 15-minute video tutorial to demonstrate how to properly prepare a participant for an electroencephalography (EEG) experiment. The detailed tutorial, covers how to fit an EEG cap (EASYCAP), make the necessary electrode preparations to ensure good contact and acceptable signal quality and setup the stimulus and EEG acquisition computers prior to commencing an experiment. The video was prepared by Gabriela de Sousa, a PhD student in the lab.
